1. SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (.NET)

Summary of the position

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, development and maintenance of several software components related to both enterprise and strategic applications. The Engineer will perform discovery, analysis and provide design solution to all applications while also providing support to QA teams. The Engineer augments a dynamic development team working in an agile environment to help refine requirements, and translates those requirements into software designs and solutions.

Skills

* In-depth knowledge of relevant software environment and related tools (programming language, operating systems, databases, debugging, testing tools).
* Knowledge of Configuration Management.
* Understand and translate business requirements and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution.
* Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and supporting methodologies, including Agile & Waterfall
* Contribute to the design and architecture process as part of the development team utilizing industry standard best practices and architecture/design patterns.
* Integration testing, debugging and fixing software as part of the implementation process.
* Support the development, release and maintenance of final solution.
* Work in a fast-paced team environment with a focus on quality
* Creativity with an ability to think outside the box.
* Self-motivated and a self-starter.
* Demonstrate concise problem determination and critical thinking skills
Qualification and experience
Overall experience required : 3.5 to 4 years
Relevant experience required : Minimum 3 year experience as a Software engineer in .NET
Exposure expected : 3+ years of experience as a software engineer; demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems while taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks ...Having exposure to Content Management and Learning Management System. Familiarity with regression testing, performance testing, and release processes will be an added advantage. Outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology. Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk.
